Family holiday in the Montafon — room for everyone, play on the doorstep
On a holiday with children, one thing matters above all: short distances. At the Whiteberg Apartment in Schruns it's 550 metres to the Zamangbahn, the garden is right by the house, and in the evening everyone sits around one big table. You have 100 m² all to yourselves — enough space that nobody gets under anyone's feet.
Sleeping: three rooms, one bunk bed
One bedroom has a large double bed, one has two single beds and one has a bunk bed — 140 cm below, 90 cm above. Who gets the top bunk is usually settled on the first evening. We'll put a cot in free of charge on request, and the sofa in the living room provides an extra bed if you need one.
Playing at the house
In the garden there's a table tennis table and a basketball hoop; indoors there are darts, board games and something to read. Some afternoons the children don't want to leave at all.
Days out that children can manage
In winter the ski day starts on foot: 550 metres to the Zamangbahn. The Golm on the other side of the valley is ideal for first turns. In summer you can head up the Golm, into the quiet Silbertal or to the outdoor pool in Schruns — 15 minutes on foot. And when the youngest has had enough by lunchtime, the way back is just as short.
