There's a moment on the first evening: ski boots in the hallway, someone boiling pasta in the kitchen, the kids already arguing over who gets the top bunk — and outside, the valley turning blue. That's the evening we furnished this place for.
Whiteberg Apartment is a 100 m² apartment in Schruns-Tschagguns, and it's yours alone. Three bedrooms, a proper living room, a private bathroom — enough space that six people aren't constantly in each other's way, small enough that everyone still ends up around the same table at night.
The kitchen is fully equipped and meant for actual cooking, not just coffee: real pots and pans, an oven, enough crockery for the whole group. After a long day on the mountain, you don't have to go back out. And for the problem every family in the snow knows — wet things tonight, back on the slopes tomorrow — there's the washing machine and the drying room. It's really our boiler room, but it's always warm, and everything is dry again by morning.
Outside comes in two parts: a sun terrace and a garden. There's a barbecue on the terrace and an open fire pit for the evenings nobody wants to end. The view is straight onto the mountains — and, as guests keep telling us, it's quiet here, yet the centre of Schruns is a 15–20 minute walk away.
We've kept the practical side simple. Parking is private, on site and free, which matters more than it sounds when you arrive with skis, bikes and a pushchair. Check-in runs through a key box, so you can arrive when it suits you without waiting for us. The WiFi reaches the whole apartment and is fast enough for a rainy-day work call. And if something comes up, we live in the house ourselves. No phone calls, no waiting for a reply — just knock upstairs.
Dogs are welcome on request, for a small surcharge. Please bring their own blanket or basket.

The bunk bed has a 140 cm bed underneath, so it isn't only a children's room — it works for two adults too. Children of all ages are welcome, and a cot is available free on request. The sofa in the living room provides an extra bed if you need one.
Schruns-Tschagguns sits in the Montafon, the valley running from Bludenz up to the Silvretta range. The apartment is on Silvrettastraße — quiet, but close to everything: 550 m to the Zamangbahn, a 15–20 minute walk into the centre of Schruns with its station, bakery, supermarket and cafés.
